Colour Machines RIP

Published by Andrew on 2011/7/20 (620 reads)

What Happened to the Colour Machines?

We believe that eventually all professional hair colouring will be done via a colour machine. Unfortunately the Dutch company which manuafactured the machines and the UK Distributor have been unable to roll the concept out as they had planned. It was an idea ahead of it's time.

In March 2011 the UK Distributor decided to close down - they just could not make the system viable in very tough trading conditions. We were able to continue getting supplies direct from Holland for several months but this meant one order per month and no backup if we either ran out of a colour or one of our two/or both colour machines developed a fault. This made continuing to use the machines we loved a high risk strategy.

We therefore decided to re-evaluate the Hair Colouring market in 2011. We looked at every major colour producer, we looked at each range of hair colour they offered with one simple objective: To identify the best possible hair colour for our clients.

We have now completed this process and have identified Wella Hair Colour as the clear winner. From the 20th July 2011 we will begin transitioning clients across to Wella hair colours.
