I have been going to ColourNation for a few years now and have always had brilliant cuts. Most recently Mia has looked after me and is really wonderful! I wear hijab so the room downstairs is brilliant - it takes me an hour to get there from home and I have to arrange a day off or extra childcare but its well worth it!

“It is a hard enough job for us ladies trying to find an affordable salon that provides a perfect haircut with a smooth service – however as a Muslim lady I had the extra tick box of trying to find a top salon that also allowed me to get my haircut in private (as for religious and personal reasons I preferred to cut my hair in a female only environment).

During my search I found that it was a near impossible feat to find a salon that provided a top service AND comfortable privacy. The general pattern seemed that if I wanted top service I would have to compromise on my privacy check, and when I found a salon that gave me privacy I had to compromise on the service given.

Nonetheless, for myself (and the sake of my hair!), other muslim ladies and other ladies whom simply preferred to have their pampering session in a female only setting I was determined to carry on with my search. My search ended and prayers answered when I discovered ColourNation.

ColourNation is THAT salon which all ladies search for – a great haircut with a smooth service, and lucky for me a lovely private salon area!

The following is a snapshot description of my experience at ColourNation to other querying lady’s out there in my position: From the moment that I walked into the salon I was greeted with warm smiles, guided to a seat and asked whether I would like a drink. Within a few minutes I was guided downstairs where I found a fully fitted, spacious salon area dedicated to privacy. I was seated, given magazines and once again kindly asked if I would like any refreshments. Subsequently, my hair was than washed and massaged by the lovely Ivanna, and during this indulgent process the chair I was lying upon soothingly massaged me! Whilst I was almost dozing away my chosen stylist, Steffi came with her scissors; The ‘Meet the Team’ tab on the web page of ColourNation described Steffi as a ‘perfectionist’ and that is exactly how she cut my hair - to say it simply I have never had someone cut my hair with such precision, her intensity was like an artist and a suitable nickname would certainly be ‘The Sculptor’.

Personally, I would like to thank ColourNation for not only providing a superior service that is difficult to find in other exclusive salons but also for catering their service for people who would like privacy.”
