Katie Glass who reviewed our hair extensions service for the Sunday Times earlier in the year, has become a regular client since that first set of extensions and here shares here experience of the hair extensions journey and her experience.
'When i first got my extensions in they were pretty uncomfortable, but after a couple of weeks, once they loosened up I could hardly feel them. The second time I got them done the discomfort went in a couple of days. Keep in mind my hair had been super short the first time I had them in (around my ears) and the extensions took it to super long hair (right down my back) so I think the sheer weight of it was what I noticed the most! Now I can't feel them at all and pretty much forget they're there most of the time.
People's reaction to the extensions has been amazing and quite funny too because literally everyone has said 'wow'. I don't think my hair's ever attracted so many compliments. Probably the best thing about the extensions is that , because they look totally natural, I haven't had to confess it's not all my hair. The colouring and texture matches my hair exactly - even I'm not sure which is which!
Because I'm so incredibly lazy about styling my hair I love the fact the extensions require zero effort. I guess long hair's always a bit easier, but in particular the extensions have a lovely soft wave to them so if I can't even be bothered to blowdry them they just fall with a bit of a curl that again looks totally natural.
When I was writing the article everyone said to me 'you'll get addicted' to them and embarrassingly I think I have. It's an easy way to look more 'together' with zero effort. And the boys seem to like them!. What's not to like : ) '
