I would love to have my long, frizzy, wavy hair straightened and am currently investigating the options for this treatment. I am aware that different salons advertise different treatments all claiming to be ?the? definitive Japanese Hair Straightening System (these include ?Ionic Hair Restructuring? (IHR), the 'Yuko System', the ?Liscio? treatment and the ?Bio Ionics? treatment).
Inevitably, every salon claims that their method is the best ? therefore leaving me none the wiser. I would be so grateful anyone could tell me (objectively if possible!) what the main differences are between these treatments (eg advantages/disadvantages) in order that I can make an informed decision. Thank you for reading this posting. Whilst I am eager to have my hair straightened I'm also very nervous - I have long hair, and thus choosing the best method and best salon is essential to prevent me making a costly (in more ways than one) mistake. (I know "it's only hair" - but it will take a hell of long time to grow back!) Cheers, Sarah stresssedsarah@yahoo.com PS Any other advice on hair straightening gratefully received!
