Hi there,

Is your hair in virgin condition?... or is it dyed brown?

If you are after a bright or light pink, you will definitely need to bleach it first.

Also if it has dye in it already again,.there's no way you could get pink without bleaching.

If however your hair is in a virgin state, you could achieve a deep redish/pink,...that's only if you have no other dye in your hair.

Regards,

Val

Hello, I have dark brown hair.. I would like to have a pink tint only. Can I achieve this without peroxide on my hair?

i have natural black hair but i want to go to a dark brown.
i also want some bits of blonde, and bits of black and then add some pink so hopefully it'll look like this:

and on the bottom half of my hair i want it to be like this:

do you have any ideas on how i should start off this 'project' ?
i was thinking of getting it dark brown first, then do the blonde bits and add black and pink after.
am i right or should i approach it differently?

It's possible to bleach black, however it all depends on what you are after.

You aren't likely to get a blonde shade, but a more reddish/orangey tone... which of course would be fine if you want to put pink/purple/copper or any red-based tone... Browns can work too...

Regards,

Val

Hi there,...

They are 2 very diverse colours. and both have their impact.

Of course going for a black means a lot of trouble with getting it out when you are tired of it...bleaching it out would create considerable damage to your hair.

the pink option might be easier, howevr for a vibrant pink you are likely to need to bleach a bit too, unless your hair is blonde enough, however being quite light you'l only ned a mild bleach.

Regards,

Val

Hey there,...

Perhaps if you are concerned on the condition of your hair, you should opt for some pink extensions instead. It would work better when it comes to taking care of hair condition,..and also the colour would not fade!

Val

hey.
well first off my hair is blonde on top and black on bottom.
i want pink low-lights. & i know that i would have to bleach the bottom (or) the bottom parts that i want pink.
& my hair is really long. almost to my butt. but i dont want to get it cut and if i bleach it then im bound to have to get it cut a little right? and what about pink high-lights to? do u think that would look ok?

It depends a bit on the type of hair you have really....

but if it looks awful when it is down, as opposed to when it's up, it means that it looks better when off your face,..so you might want to go for a shorter and very layered cut.

the less volume you have around your face the better.

Good luck

Val
