hey there,..

With the amount of bleach etc. in your hair permanent hair straightening as a definite NO-GO for you, as the chemicals would be too strong for your hair to take.

You need to go for the Brazillian straightening, which is a semi-permanent straightening (lasts 3 - 4 months) to be able to do the colour workyou are after too.

Regards,

Val

Hi, My hair is currently black right now.. but I've bleached my hair twice in the last 5 years and coloured it about at least 5 times. It's really dead and frizzy and I straighten my hair a lot. I want to Perminate straighten my hair so it would save me the trouble of straightening it every day. I also want to colour my hair lighter, like an ash brown colour? but would I have to bleach my hair in order for the results to turn out lighter? and Is it okay if I perminate straighten my hair.. or would it be too much for my hair to handle at once? Hope to hear from you soon :) Thanks a lot!

Professional hair straightening is going to cost you because of a) the higher cost of professional products and b) the cost of a professional stylist to do the procedure.

Professional hair straightening does work - we have many many happy and repeat straightening clients from around the world.

However no system can straighten hair that hasn't even grown yet!! So yes your new regrowth hair will need to be straigtened again.

Professional hair straightening like IHR/Bio-ionic straightening will cost much more than £100 as it takes between four and five hours to complete. Cheaper solutions like the Brazilian Straightening system are cheaper, quicker but don't for example guarantee dead straight hair.

Systems like Xtenso or Wellastrate have very different results...

...AND always remember that any service and the results will only be as good as the experience of the styist performing it for you.

Hope this helps clarify

Andrew

stfu u havin it permanently straightened isn't as goos as they say!! you pay alot of mopney approximately about £80-100 n probably more than that depending on the lengh of your hair, and even if you do get it done it wont last that long because it will grow out. it doesn't stay the way you might want it too

One must remember that sonme hair is tronger than others.

However as a general rule, one should at least test the high-lighted hair, for if it frizzes as a reaction to the straightening...well - squirrel's tail for hair is definitely not a good look! @

Val

They key phrase here is 'if done well'...

If done well the hair looks like naturally straight hair, shiny and healthy looking. IN our view IHR/Bio-ionic straightening is kinder on the hair than Yuko and other similar systems.

If done badly it can be very dry and even break /snap.

Apologies if this has been asked before but when you describe the result of IHR as the most natural looking result compared to other techniques how does it compare to someone who has already naturally straight hair.
I'm more talking about the conditon of the hair as i have seen people had Yuko done and the hair is not that shiny and looks flat/straw like at the ends. How well does it compare to someone who has straight hair in good condition.
In your (unbiased lol) opinion if IHR is done will the condition/texture of the hair appear near enough the same as someone who has their hair in good condition.

Hi there,..

Here at ColourNation we offer a few different ones now, there's the IHR which is the permanent straightening,..which can;t be performed on hair which has any bleach though...

And now.... there's also the Brazillian straightening which is a semi-permanent straightening, which can however be performed on all hair types,...including BLEACHED HAIR!!!

For IHR, we always suggest to have a consultation at the salon first.

should you like to book for your free consultation you may contact us on 0207 836 8883.

Regards,

Val
