Firstly we'd recommedn IHR Hair Straightening which is kinder on your hair than Yuko in our experience and we think can be done on a wider range of hair types.

There are several options.

Firstly straightening can be done on highlighted hair - just must not have too much bleach and we have to protect the highlighted hair during straightening.

Secondly if your hair is too bleached you can growth this out but in the meantime have the new brazilian straightening system which doesn't give dead straight hair but will improve manageability while you wiat for your hair to be ready for IHR.

do you mean you're going to have highlights? If so then yes with IHR straightening we can still straighten your hair (provided there isn't too much bleac hed used).

Hi, I have long hair and have had highlights in the past. Judging from your other replies, bleach and hair straightening do not go together. Since I am not willing to cut my hair super short, what advice can you give? As I grow my highlights out would it be ok to dye my hair a darker colour and then get the permanent straightening done, or is any color at all not recommended?

I really want yuko straightening but have had my hair relaxed in the past. I have been told that i cant have the yuko until the relaxer has grown out.

Is this true?

And how long will it take to grow out the relaxer, i do have pretty short hair?

Unfortunately the regrowth takes just as long as the orginal service and is technically much more difficult (this is where you'll see the experience of your salon/stylist shine through). We do however offer £50 off the orignial service cost for regrowths as we know you and know your hair after your first service with us.

I would recommend coming in for a free consultation to discuss options.

I would also not discount the Brazilian straightening which is cheaper (but needs to be done more often as it washes out). It makes your hair a lot more manageable if not dead straight. Everyone's hair is slightly different and a free cosultation would give you a better idea of what result you might see.

I wanted to ask how much a IHR re-touch of about 1.5-2 inches of growth would cost?. I predict if i had IHR done i would have to have a re-touch done every 3-4 months i think as i have mid-length hair, costly in the long run!
It's frustrating as my hair is about 5 inches long the re-growth will be more noticeable than someone who has shoulder length hair.
Do you know of any other techniques that achieve 100% straightness i.e Yuko, X-TENSO Cera-thermic that are cheaper than these?.
I looked into your Brazilian straightening treatment also but it still leaves some wave unfortunatly

Oh we know it rains a lot in England!!

The question is if the blonde colour you have at the moment is also bleach. more often than not especially if it's high-lighted hair it tends to be bleach.

If the hair is bleached then the IHR can't be performed on the hair. However we now also offer the Brazillian Keratin hair straightening, which is not a permanent hair straightening system like the IHR but lasts a good 4 months making the hair far more manageable, and most of all can be perfomed on any types of hair...EVEN BLEACHED!

Hello! I have had blond wavy hair for my whole life, but I did not like the fact that it was wavy/curly, I hate it. Moreover, my hair started get darker and darker and when they were like gray I dyed it blond. I have been dying my hair blond for a year and a half and it looks very good and natural. But I really got tired of straightening it every morning and then it would get curly if it rains(and it rains in England a lot) and I was hoping that i could do the permanent straightening. Also, my hair is just a little wavy and if I hair blow it it will be straight but my head skin is sensitive and becomes dry so if I hair blow it like every day I start having dandruff and my head starts itching, so I just wanted to get my hair straight and do not do anything with it but the question is that my hair is colored, So, What can you suggest about it??
