Yes this should be ok... but be gentle. We've seen people who habitually tuck their hair behind their ear, cause a kink in otherwise straight hair. So be very gentle.

Regarding product you would need something to produce this look but if at all possible try and avoid using anything (Val may add his advice later). You're spending a lot of money so try and avoid trouble.

finally yes 4-5 inches of length can be done.. and yes it's for men too

You're welcome to come in for a free consultation to discuss your options.

Hi
In regards to IHR on your site is states not to tie up or bend the hair for 3 days.
Is it ok to wear it in a middle parting i.e not falling down but like this.

Click to see original Image in a new window

Also can i put any product in it like gel or hairspray in those 3 days, will any off this likely to affect the result of the IHR.

p.s is hair 4-5 inches long long enough to have this service?

Unfortunately with straightening, mistakes are not easily corrected. This is why it's always best to go with an experienced reputable straightening salon. Look for reviews from past clients and ask how many straightening the salon actually does. One a week just isn't enough.

Also there are many products out there, in our view IHR is the best but equally important is the experience of the stylist doing the service for you. The best product in the worst hands can be equally dangerous.

In your case if possible come in and see us for a free consultation and we'll see what we can do to improve your hair condition.

IHR with us should have no problems straightening your hair and if your hair is too weak or damaged (from colouring or previous treatments) another solution is our new Brazilian Straightening system which won't guarantee straight hair but will make your hair more manageable.

thx for the reply Val
I would say my hair is type 2b/c, wavy generally and curls at the ends a little and is generally dry. In your opinion can IHR make my hair straight, if not are there any other straightening techniques like Yuko that you do.

Hi there,..

Well the result of the IHR system varies on the type of hair.

Very curly hair such as Afro or mixed race tends to not be entirely straight, though would make it very easy to style.

Ihr is however probably the most natural looking on the market, and does not look too stiff.

Pror to any bookings we do consultations were we take a good look at the hair, and if needs be do a strand test too.

Should you like to book for your free consultation you may contact us on 0207 836 8883

Regards,

Val

Hi
I'm a bit confused as with regards to IHR. Reading info on the web it says on a few reviews that IHR does'nt get hair 100% straight, is this true?
I am personally wanting my hair to be 100% straight with some movement left (i.e naturally looking) and not stiff like i heard the Yuko system can lead to sometimes. Would IHR be suitable for me?

Hi there,...

Yeah during the consultation we tend to check the hair for bleach, and we are most likely to do a strand test to be sure too.

After straightening, as long as NO bleach is used, one can still colour hair. Repeated over-lapping of high-lift tints are not recommended though.

I'm afraid we do not run introductory offers on IHR, however we do have different level of stylists, at different prices.

Should you like to book for your free consultation you may contact us on 0807 836 8883.

Regards,

Val

Hi there, What a great forum!

I have the top layers of my hair highlighted, but I believe it's via a high lift tint, not a bleach. At a consultation would you be able to confirm this?

Also, I am naturally beige and I prefer to have the front layers lighter - if I had the permanent straightening, which I am extremely tempted to do, would I still be able to have the front of my hair coloured?

Also also (!), do you ever run special offers or introductory discounts?

Many thanks.
