Thanks for the reply. As i live to far from you i have been to my local salon that offers this service and was told that it takes about 30mins to do then a 45min break for it to work and thats it and it will look great for 3 months. I notice on here you've said it take about 5 hours and lasts 6-8 months. Do you think they use an inferior method? do you know of anywhere or do you have anywhere in Wiltshire that can offer permanent straightening ? as im having trouble finding anywhere that offers it and i'd like to go into more than one place for advice 1st as its for my honeymoon so i really dont want it to go wrong!

Yes it would work for you. We have clients with mainly straight hair but one big kink or wave through their hair for example and the hair straightening works perfectly for them.

Hi, i have alot of thick hard to manage hair. It is not so much curly as just hard to style. When i go out i straighten my hair which even with good straightners takes ages to do.
Would permanent hair straightening work for me? or is it really just meant to relax curly hair?

Hi there,..

unfortunately going back dark, is still not gonna help, because the bleach would still be present under that dark colour 'coating'.

So the only 2 options is to either grow the bleach out, or cut out the bleached out bits, after thetreatment (that would probably take you to a bob though!)

Regards,

Val

well really and truly, it all depends on the type of dye onw would have put.

semi-permanents or dark colours are fine, however one should avoid bleach or high-lift tints, like the plague!.

white/silver etc, colours mustbe bleached firast to achoeve any result...so again stay away.

regards,

Val

hello ray,

Permanent straightebnng is definitely the better option for the conditioning of your hair.

Of course if your hair ends are already pretty damaged, it is not gonna make things better, and it would be advisable to cut those ends after the treatment. However the parts of your hair that are healthy will turn out just fine, and you won;t have to bother with your striaghteners, or at least very rarely...subject to how curly your hair is.

The best way iis to have a consultation first.

Here at ColourNation, we always do consultations before booking anyone for the treatment.

Consultations are free an with no obligation.

To book for your consultation you may contact us on 0207 836 8883.

regards,

Val

Hi there...

after permanent straightening it is not advisable to put high-lights in....

certainly no bleach,..and high-light tints are not a good idea either, as it may make the hair go frizzy...

Val

Hello, I am 17 and I have frizzy wavy hair and I use the straighteners for an hour everyday to get it straight and my hair is really getting damaged. I was wondering do you think that the perminant starightening will do more damage than the straighteners everyday? what will be better for my hair? My hair is not very thick.
Ray.

Hey, I have a question. After you straightened your hair and dyed it, can you straighten you hair again? or will that cause any bad affects to you hair? And does white, grey, silver dye count as bleach?
