Hi there,

with the IHR the straightness will depend on how thight teh curl is, so if you have VERY curly hair then you will most likely to get a wavy result.

There is also The Brazilian smoothing system which only relaxes the curl, howver if your hair is very curly I doubt that that would be strong enough.

I would suggest to come in for a consultation so we can see your hair and tell you the best way to go about it.

To book for your FREE consultation you may contact us on 07845 88 88 333.

Regards,

Val

Hi there,

The IHR system is more of a tedious procedure more than a complicated one, however of course, experience of knowing when the hair is ready to be washed etc, comes with practice.

At the moment we do not have graduate/Stylists doing the IHR, however they should be getting trained shortly.

Of course that will also mean in the new year they woul dhave just started, so I would still suggest looking at senior stylist.

Regards,

Val

Hi,

Am looking into having IHR in the new year after reading up on it over the last few months.

What I have noticed is that Colournation provide several levels of stylist. Will the result be "better" with a top stylist or will it be just as good with a graduate stylist? Many people have said to me that it will just take longer with a less trained stylist but I will still have the same straightness.

Please advise.

Laura

Hi
I'm trying to figure out if IHR will help with my hair.
When my hair grows longer it does go a bit curly after washing but tends to go more poofy and even if I try to straighten it still looks big and poofy.

Do you think IHR will help with this?

Thanks

Hey there,..

I guess it all depends on how curly is your natural hair.

As you can imagine your re-growth will come back like it's always been, while the part that would have been straightened will stay straight, so I guess if the difference between the two is not sevre it won;t be such a headache.

Also if the hair is not too curly, some clients get away with doing a retouch every year.

I would suggest coming in for a consultation to help answer your questions well.

Hi,

I really want to have my hair permanently straightened, but cannot guarentee that I will be able to afford the retouch after regrowth. How easy would it be to simply let it grow out and return to my original curlyness? Would this create problems with my hair?

Thanks.

it's best to have your hair straightened first then coloured.

There are two options - it's best to come in for a free consultation so we can see your hair and suggest the best way forward.

An IHR permenant straightening will totally straighten your hair.

A Brazilian straightening will dramatically reduce the frizz and might be your best bet.
