Im a black girl too. Ive been getting extensions for 2 years and if its done well then they should and could last up to two months. make sure you get the human hair so that you can wash it and apply heat to it. Keeping extensions in will get your hair healty and it will grow. if your going to keep gettin extension i recomend no loonger getting a relaxer for the simple reason that will prevent your hair from growing. i hope that you like the new look!

Hi there,..

with glue in extensions, it's not about the glue itself being damaging,...it's about the getting them out eventually, that is when the damage tends to be done.

Get ready to loose some hair, and treating your hair after they are taken out.

regards,

Val

Hi there,

The actual wording is infact pretty straight-forward, a full head of extensions, (which in actual fact is more of a 3/4 head) will give you extensions all the way round the head from the top of the ear level downwards.

Whilst half-head will give you less, say from bottom of the ear down.

Best would of course be to book in for a free consultation, where one can actually identify the best system to use.

Should you like to come in for a consultation, you may contact us on 020 7836 8883.

Best Regards,

Val

Hi there,..

It kind of depends on the experience and speed of the stylist really.

But yuo can expect anything between 2.5 - 5 hours.

Regards,

Val

Hi, since no one has responded to you I will offer my input.
The best thing to do is to go to a salon that specialises in Afro hair. The consultation should give you an insight into how long the extensions will last and maintenence advice.

Due to individual differences it is best to try identify how long your roots take to grow out.

However, if you had a full head then your own roots would not show. You only need to maintain your roots if you have less than a full head of hair extensions as your own hair would be showing. If you have less than a full head and your roots grow out, you can maintain the all over straight look if you have a pair of straightners.

Hope that helps.
