Blonde haircut is new and latest fashion in youth. If you have shoulder length hair in a brunette tone, skip going for over-all blonde color. Instead, apply some rich caramel highlights throughout your style, focusing on the crown and where the part lands. Your textured waves combined with the rich highlights will reflect the sunlight and create an eye-catching look.

I have very dark brown, fine and thin hair and have been bleaching it for most of my life and I have kept it great shape. I am also a licensed Master Barber. To have healthy hair and scalp you first must eat right and exercise. Poor eating habits, certain drugs/surgeries and stress will make your hair weak, dull and/or fall out.

Once you start coloring, bleaching, perming (chemically altering your hair) then you MUST use top shelf products on your scalp and hair to keep it healthy, otherwise you hair will look awful. There are many great products and I don't want to recommend just one or two. Each person finds their own that they like. Don't believe all the fancy commercials about hair products on tv. You need to get a professional salon product, not ANYTHING from the drugstore or grocery store or the fake 'professional salon product' imitations that they sell at Marshall's, CVS or any other store. For example you may see so called Redken, Paul Mitchell, BedHead products in some of these stores. They are not genuine Redken, Paul Mitchell or BedHead products at all. You can only get authentic professional hair products at a salon or the professional only beauty/barber supply stores - you have to have a beauty or barber's license to buy anything at these supply houses. (NOT Sally's....they are open to the public and with a few exceptions, pretty much the same as shopping at a regular drugstore or any other regular public retailer)

When you chemically alter your hair you have to pamper it or else it will never look good. It takes work, perseverance and unfortunately usually it takes some extra money.

im doin light blonde on top and dark brown on bottom with a long, layery, razored look. i cant find ANY pics 2 look at! help!!

Firstly, I hope you got a friend who's doing it...Don't try doing it yourself, unless you got short hair, as the result will be patchy and messy.

If you want to achieve a white-ish blonde you will definitely also need a good silver/ash toner.

Once you get the hair a very light blonde/white shade, you will need to use the toner to eliminate any last bit of yellow.

Get yourself a silver shampoo too, to keep the colour vibrant.

so im thinking on not but you never know.

im naturally blonde , and i dye my hair brown.. just starting this year i always had blonde highlights when i was younger. i was thinking of doing blonde highlights again starting just half head then going all blonde and keeping the dark under.. ??
