Hey Fifi,

If it actually is black that was put into your hair, it will be virtually impossible to have those 'ashy' blonde lights...

To move away from the black I would start into aiming for a more realistic result and go for something like a choclate brown, then slowly build up on that in the next few months....

Please help

I have naturally dark hair. I had some highlights put in but it looked too red/orange. I hated it. I asked my hairdresser to cover with a dark tint, but now I hate it even more. It looks so unatural - a mass of artirficial black.

How do I return to a more shiny multi tone, dark brown with 'ashy' blonde and subtle highlights. Please help?
