Can I have 'Natural Glossing' treatment on my IHR straightened hair?

Dear Andrew,

I had my very curly hair straightened about a month ago in December 05, and I am delighted with it. It is soft, smooth and straight!! It is quite glossy at the roots, but I'd like to give the ends a bit of shine. I used to use the GHDs on it before it was straightened, and therefore I think some of the ends are a little dull. I have noticed that Toni & Guy offer a treatment called 'natural glossing' that costs from about £30. It provides the hair with semi-permanent glossiness and boosts condition, apparently lasting several months. You can have it transparent, or with a tint. I would opt for the transparent treatment to retain the golden highlights in my hair. Can you confirm if this treatment is safe for hair that has had IHR? Heaven forbid - could it make my hair go wavy again?!! Or is there anyone out there who has also had 'glossing' following the IHR treatment to give me some advice?

Laura

Hi Laura..

Should not be a problem, but you can confirm with the stylist doing the job.

Regards
