my natural hair colour is medium brown, i spent 6 weeks abroad where my hair went alot lighter naturally, i liked this look and sun-in'ed my hair on my return to the uk, i had good results for a while, nice blondey colour, but after re-doing my roots a few times, hair looks a bit gingery and i want my brown hair back! my friends told me u musnt dye over sun-in.... is this true? what happens if u do? i will die if i have to grow the roots out, it will look hideous! HELP PLEASE!

as long as you are going back to a dark colour, not blonder, that is fine,..perhaps you could use a semi-permanent so it's nice and soft.

Choose your natural colour well, don;t try lighter colours as it may be a bit gingery too.

otherwise it should be just fine.

I hate sun it. I had to put up with ginger hair for ages. My friend used it too and tried to cover it with brown dye butit went greenish! Atleast ginger is better than green lol x
