i've been wanting to go blonde for at least 3 years now, but i know it is not possible for me to go completely blonde without damaging my hair as it is dark. i did bleach it once but it went orange, therefore i had it corrected to my natural colour. would it be a good idea for me to try highlights instead? i'm really keen to change my hair over summer so that i can look different for college. thanks a lot :)

Hey there,

Going lighter is not a problem, but one would need to be realistic of the result to start. It is always best to take things gradually not to damage the hair too much.

You have to keep in mind that you probably have a fairly dark dye on top now which will definitely not make things any easier.

I would suggest to come in for a consultation where we can see your desired colour and how to go about it to achieve it.
