Hi guys, i'm wondering which products i should use for my hair, and how i should style it. So far i've used Dax (blue tin) and it just made my hair sticky and clumped, and it didn't look spiked as it's curly. I've also used gel but it just made my hair look so thin (wrong gel maybe)?

I'd prefer not to use straightners, but i have a pair but they are pretty old.

Yeah your hair is pretty curly to create a spiky look without using straighteners....

You could loosen them with a very strong wax,..but it would need to be a more dry one (unlike Dax) so you would need some kind of gum or glue...sticky but not greasy..

I still think straightening first would still be the best result.
