i have naturally mousy blonde hair, and am thinking of dying it dark brown underneath with lighter blonde streaks on top, does anyone have any tips or ideas, or even pictures that could help me get it right?

It sounds very good idea even thought it'll be a change it'll be a good one, as well as putting some blonde strips on the top, I think we should combine those with a few dark ones same shade as the underneath colour, this will give us a more balanced look if that's what you're looking for.

I did exactly what you want to do....but now I want to go back to blonde! It was weird to see myself with brown hair especially because like you , I have naturaly blonde hair. I do suggest doing it because its a good change however you get tired of it after like a month and now my problem is that I dont know how to fix it. Go for it as long as you know how to go back to normal. I went to a salon to get it done, but now I dont have the money to get it fixed.

hi my hair is really light blonde on top and black underneath it looks gr8!if ur unsure bout doing it urself go 2 the hairdresser and ask 4 advice,if u do it at home get a m8 2 help u,get lots of layers cut thro the bk and front of ur hair 2 emphasis the 2 colours!

most importantly, make sure that when you retouch your roots, you just do that,..and give the rest of your hair a break.
