Bleach??
G_alexadawe@yahoo.co.uk
Hello!
I have been a very light bleached blonde for a long time. I recently decided to go brunette again, back to my roots.

So my bright idea was to do it myself with a clairol 100% colour home dye. It went very khaki coloured and got worse every time I washed it. AAGH!

I then had the local hairdressers correct it. They put a colour on top, a 5-something with a red base to counteract the green. It worked out fine.
NOW, however, I hate it! I miss my blonde and want to go back to light bright white-ish blonde!

Can someone please advise me on how to do this? Can I do it at home with the right instructions from a professional? That is why Im here! Im so impulsive and impatient and I dont want to wait til I get paid.
Is it possible to do at home and what would I need?
Any advice would be massively appreciated!

Thank you In advance!!!!

alexa

Hi there....

unfortunately, i'm afraid it's not that simple.

you of course definitely need to bleach the hair to get back to the blonde you had,..and most of all, considering the colour yuo have at the moment, you will not achieve the blonde you had previously on the first go,...infact you are bound to go more gingery than blonde past your first bleach application.

If I were you I would start by putting high-lights thrpugh to start breaking the dark colour, and move to a more of a light-brown sort of shade (think Jennifer Anniston or Mischa barton).....then go blonder graualy...

Whichever way,..I would dfinitely seek to do it professionally/....don;t be impulsive this time round!...

Regards,

Val
