im mixed race from africa and england and have curly quite long hair which the longer it is the more relaxed it is. i have always wanted short hair but straight and im too scared to relax it because i do like the curls in my hair. this seems like a really weird situation that i want straight short hair but i do still want my curly hair.

I don;t think it is that weird wanting short straight hair at all... wanting also your curls is fine too - versatility is always great!

The best solution I see for this is to have a Brazilian smoothing system, reason being that this procedure is essentially a treatment that relaxes the curl without being harmful to the hair... it will help you by making it easier to style your hair straight but at the same time not killing your curls.
