Re: blonde highlights going back to dark brown
yeah it is safe,...however I would go for a semi permanent colour first, so if you;ll want to go lighter in future it will be easier, than if u would have done a prmanent.
Also stir away from Ash browns..best is to use a natural or golden brown tone.

Val

I have dark brown hair with red highlights and went
to blonde. I went thru about 5 hair stylist before
they made it the right color but have destroyed my hair
now
I need to go back brown but I actually look better with
blonde hair.
How can you ever get your hair healthy when you continue
to destroy it.
If i wanted to get back to brown again, how do you get
the color back?
Any suggestions?

You will need to deep condition it, and if that doesnt wor -you need a short hair cut to get rid of the damaged hair, as the longer it is, the more damage it does to the rest of your hair. It happened to me, now I have lovely soft shoulder length hair.

Hey there...
I;ll have to agree with the person on your post reply.
After 5 procedures, i can;t imagine your hair is at a stage where it can be saved.
I would look into cutting out a good chunk iof the damage, especially since going dark, and then going blonde again, is only going to create more damage, quite frankly there's no point to this colour change procedure.
Find a shorter cut you like....you could always go in for a 'cut consultation' for ideas.
Consultations here at ColourNation are free of change and with no obligation.

dont dye your hair again get your hair cut it wont grow if your hair is dead also get regular conditioning treatments, healthy hair is better than dyed hair. when your hair is in better condition the then colour your hair and the colour will take better. good luck

Hi there, if you try Garnier Nutrisse' it's a permanent home colour you can buy in most super markets, they have a great one called mocha brown, which is dark brown...hope this helps!

Just to let you now that I went from having highlites (ongoing for about 2 years) to a warm brown that has not even faded it was recitals home box about £6.99 shade (frosted brown) very natural looking, you can get it in most supermarkets. Definately worth trying 10/10.
