I had Loreal X-Tenso done 40 days ago, even though my hair is not too wavy, it didn't look different at all. I thought the hairdresser hadn't done a good job. Can I try rebounding/Japanese permanet straightening already?

Hey there,..

Unfortunately a Straightening system can't go on top of another straightening, so you are likely going to have to grow out that X-Tenso.

You could try doing a strand test, but don't get your hopes up, as it is likely to o frizzy.

regards,

Val

I tried Extenso to get my hair straightened last week but not happy with the results. How long should I wait to have IHR done on my hair now?

Hey there,

You could perhaps check on-line for stockists of L'Oreal and X-Tenso in NYC.

Regards,

Val

Hi,

I've done the Loreal X-tenso last august and my hair just now needs relaxing in the new hair, I really liked the work they did on my hair, It was very straight in first week, but became natural and I got lots of comliments on my hair, not to mention that how much easier it is now to care for it.

I am looking for a hair salon in NY that uses the Loreal X=tenso since I did my overseas and the people that I know who used Yuko I don't really like the result.

Does anyone know any place in NYC where they use X-Tenso?

Thanks.

IHR was better than Yuko orginally because it could be done on coloured hair and was the first system to include a 'protector' element for coloured hair.

Based on what we've seen we feel that IHR leaves the hair software and more lifelike in it's finish compared to Yuko which can leave hair a little stiff and lifeless.

Hi there,...

Not too sure that X-Tenso could last for a year, since it is not a permanent straightening such as the IHR or the Yuko, we do use X'tenso here at ColourNation, but the latter is used just to relax the hair.

Val

Hi there...

I'm afraid we'd have no idea on that one,..but you are likely to find it at any L'Oreal stockist.

Val
