Permanent Hair Straightening
G_Anonymous

Basically..... for past two years i have been having highlights every so often, although i have left them to grow out recently and havent done anything to my hair for bout 5 months!! yuk now the colours all gone and i hate it...

also i am going travelling for 6 months in feb and my hair is thick and wavy, so i often have to straighten it!! am worried with the humidity etc it will just make my hair even more frizzzy and i am refusing to take my hairdryer and straighteners!!... so before i go in feb i want to both have my hair re-coloured and have been looking into your permanently straightening treatment..

would i be able to have both of these treatements done to my hair? ........i dont mind if they are spaced out

Thank you

Hi there,

There are actually different factors to look at before deciding what would suit youir travelling needs best.

Dyed hair and the pemanent straightening can go together as long as there is no bleach in your hair.

If yu do have bleach in your hair (ideally you would check with a stylist) the straightening cannot be performed as thi swould result in the hair snapping, and will of course only make matters worse.

If there is no bleach both proceduires can be done, though you must leave 2 weeks of time between the two, starting with the straightening then the colour.

To put your mind at rest, you could come in for a free consultation (no obligation) where we could take a good look at the hair and discuss matters further.

To book for your consultation you can contact us on 020 7836 8883.

Regards,

Val

hi thanks alot for replying..

the thing is im really desperate for my hair to be dyed back to blonde before i go travelling.. i usually get a full head of hightlights and that does the trick perfectly...

is there any way for hair to be dyed blonde without using bleach??? currently my hair is a strawberry blond colour..

so is it definately out of the question to have a full head of higlights and then permanetly straightening it..

i really dont no how il be able to cope for 7 months with wavy, frizzy and unruly hair???? Help..

Hi i have had my hair coloured off n on since last four years.Lat time got my hair highlighted was in August 2005.I want to get my hair recoloured, but the issue is that i also want to get them permanently straightened.I am aware of the fact that i need to get my hair straightened before getting them a new colour, but i want to know for how long does the permament straightening works?if it works till the regrowth of new hair then that means re visits will be needed.is it possible to get the wavy, curly hair back in shape after a year or so of permanent straightening?

ok lots of questions.

Yes it's best to have your hair straightened first then coloured.

We normally say straightening will last 6-8 months but customers do come back after even longer - it depends on how your hair grows (how fast and how curly).

If you don't re-straighten you hair, it will return to it's natural curls and can be encouraged with styling.

Hello,

I don't know if i am sending this message to the right people but i just need some advice.
I really really want straight hair, i have naturally ginger and very curly hair which i have an organic hair bleaching done , i have a full head of hi-lights.
I have a 9-month old daughter an live a good three hours away and i don't drive.
It would be really difficult for me to come for a consulation.
Any Advice?

Dear Andrew,

My teenage daughter, 17 years, has proved to be the ultimate chalenge to hairdressers over the globe.I am looking for a solution to permanently straighten her abundantly well endowed locks, which since birth have been a confusing frizzy mass of curls, that swell to humongous proportions when wet or after she washes her hair. Its impossible to tame her hair, no amount of top salon products and shampoos have helped, and hair straighteners, well they just snap haha, so can ure salon take up this challenge, i think the fashion magazines would have a field day covering this as the makeover of all makeovers. I want my daughter to feel comfortable, and enjoy the normal teenage trends, as she is also a special needs child, and has recently lost her father too. Can you guys help?

Thanks for contacting us :)

I'm sure that we could help your daughter.

One thing to consider is that IHR is not cheap and you could find the repeat services each year expensive - so it can be a commitment especially because your daughter will no doubt love it.

We do have teenage and younger clients who get great benefit from this process. Many of them also want to leave curles behind and enjoy their hair like everyone else.

Andrew

Not yet sorry :(

We'd like top open a branch in California at some stage in the future. If anyone out there is interested in franchise we'd be happy to discuss. :)
