Hey there,
No, you won't really need to do anything to the hair, but we will need to put bleach on it to strip your current colour if you want to go lighter on those ends. Yeah we've done many dip-dye procedures.... or baleage,..or ombre lights.... They're all new terms , but ion reality it is not such a new procedure..it is just re-invented to look like one  Whichever way - the effect looks great!
