banding in bleach blonde hair

Hi I asked this but I dont think I posted it properly (so sorry if this is the second message about this)...

I have very noticeable banding in my bleach blonde hair (naturally very dark brown). I did leave it 12 weeks between roots touch up and I know that caused the problem, but it's bright orangey gold sandwiched between white blondelengths and ends and dark brown roots!

How can I remove the banding (without melting my hair!) and make sure it doesnt happen again?!

Really would appreciate any help! Willing to change hairdresser! lol
