From the information you've given us, I would strongly recommend against going blonde all over. I think you;d be better off to go for high-lights, rather than a block colour, especially so as to get a more natural feel to the colour.

Hello, I have waist length dark brown hair and am thinking of going blonde all over. I am worried that by going blonde my hair will turn Orange!Could you let me know how long it would take to go from dark brown to mid/light blonde, I know that I will probably have to come back for subsequent recolouring, and if it is possible to bypass the orange stage?!I dont really want to walk around with orange hair, is it possible to go from dark brown to dark blonde in one session? My hair is in pretty good condition,although when I dyed it years ago (at home) the colours tended to wash out within about 2 months. My mum is asian, so have semi asian hair, will this affect what colour my hair could be?Any advice would be good, thanks! xXx
