Hi there,..

really and truly, that is more of a photographic effect all about lighting.

however one can achieve that look by taking slimmer lights at the top section, so that your roots show through more, but putting also low lights to break the blonde too.

Regards,

Val.

Hi there....

It is most certainly possible to go darker,..the best way is to do low-lights, and work with toners or semi-permanent colours.

What the stylist must keep in mind is that if you are very blonde one should go much darer than the target colour, as your first application will fade very fast...only when you do the colour the second time will it settle better.

Of course that also depends on how blond u are , as well as the condition of your hair.

One last tip,..find a stylist that is very strong on colour.

Regards,

Val

I currently have light blonde hair all over and am wanting to go 2 to 3 shades darker. im tired of being blonde and think is more flattering and less maintance which would help my hair also grow out nice and healthy. I was thnking of a shade like carmen electra witth a few face framing highlights how would i go about with this process? and would it work with light blonde hair? do i need to keep adding lowlights or can i do it differently im going to go to a slaon of course but just need opinons. i have pictures of my hair on my pc but i dont know how to post it but here r shades that i want. TIA!!
my hair is kinda like this blonde
