Hey people

I had my hair done with the WellaStrate(Medium) a few months ago.It worked great and found it was the best product ive come across so far!I did mine in Covent Garden and took about 3-4hours.But after the first treatment and washed out,the hairdresser used the heated hair straightners that you buy in the shops to get that extra straightness and then used the conditioner afterwards. As usual you cant wash or anything to your hair for 24hrs, then washed it and dried it etc and was spot on!Stayed straight and got a bit of natural life back into it after a few weeks of washing and time etc.Still is straight and no frizz in it either which im impressed about!Hair feels good and strong and cant see any damage to it.Shines and is still healthy. Definitely recommend it though, just the price is a little too steap though for myself being a student and hair salons dont really give leway for that :(

The only thing now is its growing out and need to redo the roots again as its getting a little wavy and some frizz coming through.Does anyone know if you have to pay the full price again to get the roots redone?

Thanks everyone and thanks to Colournation...

Mark

Hi

Been using the cold system and in both cases after less than two hours - got my hair as it was before.

I feel quite dissappointed

Re: Heard of Wellastrate?? How does that differ from IHR?

Hi

Ive had the Wellastrate treatment and to be honest i didnt find it very good, it made my hair shine, apart from that i thought it was a waste of £75, i still neeed to blowdry and straighten it myself, and the curlyiness is still very much in my hair.

hey im from germany i used wellastraight it feels pretty good but the main disadvantage ist that bleaching or highlighting hair causes heavy damages depending how curly your hair was

I think Wellastrate is cheaper for a reason (I had mine done for £115 in London) but the results were not as good as I hoped for. My hair was still wavy at the roots and it wasn't very sleek. This was 2 months ago and now my hair is back to before: thick and wavy.

I must add, however, that I am Chinese and maybe caucasian hair is different. I have tried IHR before and found this much more effective and longer lasting (at least 4 months). Hope this helps.

I had yuko straightening last year. it was £300 but was amazing-hair was smooth, frizz free, perfect. Today i have had wellaSTRATE and am at the moment feeling dissapointed! It seems quite fly-away and fluffy. It was £230 which is alot especially when i am not too happy. Cant wait to wash it to see how it is then. What is yours like now?
