The L'Oreal silver shampoo,..is great indeed, infact wether you got the orangetinge or not, it keeps blondes looking great.

How about giving your hair a break instead?
How long has it been since you stripped your hair? If you are gonna strip it again from that hazelnut colour, it will definitely go orange, and unfortunately, the ash blonde will not be enough to neutralize the orange,...you would very likely need to strip the hair twice.... The other option, which would definitely be the better option, would be to start adding high-lights to the hazel colour and go lighter gradually. Regards, Val

OMG that is EXACTLY the problem i have. ive been using purple based shampoo to like kill the orange but to me it isnt making a difference...like i have only been using it for a week and each time i use it i have literally left the shampoo in for two hours and it doesnt effin work. if your hair is really damaged then you gonna have to wait and treat your hair like your first born- seriosuly. then after about 4 weeks you can go to the hairdressers and tell them to put a "ash" tone in. you might want to dye your hair like ash brunette and it will come out chocolate brown- always note, when choosing a hair color in our case, the result will be much redder. basically the reason it went orange is a: because you used an warm tone dye and it clinged big time or b: you used a normal dye, but because you probably use #OOPS# shampoo (sorry(:) it hasnt been able to cling to your hair folicles because it is clogged up with silicon. make sure you go to a professional hair care shop or the hairdressers and buy some shampoo, conditioner, something to protect your hair from the heat of hairdryers, straighteners and so fourth, something like a hair mask to replenish it and some purple based shampoo. i got all that excludoing the purple shamppoo in a pack for about $45 aus. but, it only contains water based silicon which isnt the bad type. normal like the supermarket shampoo basically is detergent, thats why it foams so much, perfume, thats why it smells so good, and silicon, which is what makes your hair so shiny after- because it coating your hair in a plastic layer. go get a pair of scissors and and put some hair between the scissor blade and your thumb, run this down the hair and youll see white stuff on the scissors, this is silicon, it is true! make sure you use a very blunt pair of scissors too. hope this helped, x

The ideal scenario woud be to do some fine weaves at the top,..however you wouldn;t be able to do this on your own...

Well, here is my delemma. A few months back, right around Thanksgiving, I dyed my hair a reddish-brown. I had been doing so with the same color for several months. After I dyed it around Thanksgiving, I stopped and let it grow. My hair is exactly shoulder length with layers starting around my cheeks. I have prom coming up in about 3 weeks and I'm trying to figure out what to do. I don't enjoy walking around like Cruela-Devil. My roots, about an inch, are my natural light ash blonde color. The rest of my hair is the faded dye which I would now say still has lots of red in it, but for the most part appears like a burnt brownish-orange. it's gross and disgusting, especially with the light blonde roots. I need suggestions for 'do-it-at-home' coloring. We don't have the money for a stylist, and my mom use to be one many years ago-but isn't sure of what to do exactly to guarantee that it won't come out copper. Please throw some suggestions my way. We're trying to get it to as far away from orange and as close to a blonde as possible. No playboy platinum blonde. Just enough to fade with my natural color. Help??
