I am 40% grey with white in the front & darker brown at the back I usually have all blonde foils re-touched but last time brown colour was used to 'break up too light colour' now I have way too much brown & the colour won't shift.....later I found the colour had a filler in it but my ends which were lovely blonde are now murky brown.

My hair is fine & quite fragile how long do I wait until I can get the darker slowly lightened?

BTW not going back to the ppl that did this they are too rude.

Which colour will suit you depends on so many factors...

Your natural colouring.
Your personality
(What your school or job will accept).
etc etc

The best way for you to find out which colour is best is to come in for a free consultation perhaps with your parent or guardian.

I've got about 70% grey in what was dark brown hair and I'm thinking about highlights/lowlights. I want to reduce the grey looking hair to about 30-40% and I want it to look natural. How straight forward will this be?

Hi there...

yeah it should be pretty straight forward. you could look atthe high-lights to be bleach, then topped by a toner all-over, to maximize grey coverage,..the low lights will work just fine too...

I would look for a styylist that's strong on colour.

Should you like to come into ColourNation for a consulattion, you can contact us on 0207 836 8883.

Consultations are free and with no obligation.

hey there,..

If you have dark hair, you could perhaps opt for some caramel colour, and some light brown, to achieve a sunkist look,..which would look great with your 'gelled-up' wet look styles!

since gel tends to make the colour look darker, you could go a shade higher than your target shade to balance out.

Perhaps going for a consultation prior to the appointment could help too.

Consultations here at ColourNation are free of change and with no obligation.

To book for your free consultation you can contact us on 0207 836 8883.

Hey I'm a natural red-head, but it has a more brown look to it. I've been considering getting a warm caramel highlight to it, with a sort of random streak pattern. It's rather shorter hair, cut to be a faux-hawk.

Would a caramel color look okay with a brownish-red hair color?

Hi there,,...

yeah caramel will look just fine, try to go a few shades lighter than your current colour to create an interesting contrast.

regards,

Val
