Hi there,

It is possible to do IHr on a guy, however you would need a certain amount of length to carry out the procedure, which would usually be a good 4 inches all-over.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to come in for a consultation first..

You can book for a free consultation on 0845 8888 333.

Regards,

Val

hello! I got a yuko straightening done, but it did not worked properly, i had to get it done twice, and i still needed to straighten it after washing, that was not was i was specting. I dont really know why this happened because this system is suppose to be wash and go. I wonder if the stylist did not do his job properly or is that this system is not as effective as it is said.

9 months later my hair is quite wavy and my roots are curly, as my natural hair is, my hair never was very frizzy or too curly, i would say medium curls. I am thinking of getting done a new treatment. but i dont really know if repeating the yuko system or trying with the ionic hair retexturisation, which of both is more effective? cause i would really like to have a wash and go straightening, that is what i am really paying for.

Thank you very much!

Cecilia Jimenez

Hey Cecilia,

I would really suggest to have a consultation before taking that decision.

The biggest problem I see with your situation is that wether you do the YUKo or the IHR you will only be able to do the re-growth, which means that the rest of the hair which has been straightened (and i understand still frizzy) will not be able to be re-treated.

If you would like to come and see us for a free consultation you may contact us on 0845 8888 333.

Regards,

Val

I've always fancied really straight, sleek hair that I can mold and do stuff with. Would IHR work for me? Have many guys had it done?

Hi there,..

Yeah we definitely have guys doing straightenings, both IHR as well as the smoothing Brazilian system.

however you would need about 4 inches of length to be able to have the procedure.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to come in for a consultation first..

You can book for a free consultation on 0845 8888 333.

Hey, I have a question about IHR straightening. I know that you can not use IHR on hair that has already been bleached, but what about bleaching your hair AFTER getting the treatment? I'd love to have blonde straight hair, but my hair is very dark brown and curly... Anyways thank you in advance

Hey there,...

Unfortunately the 'NO BLEACH' clause is for both cases, wether it's before or after, as the 2 chemicals would collide causing the hair to frizz and potentially snap.....

Definitely a NO-GO!

.....Good Question though

Regards,

Val
