hey, im desperate to have IHR done for the summer becuase i will be in and out of the pool and cannot deal with how unruly my hair gets. i have dyed my hair blonde in the past but havent re dyed it for at least 9 months and dont plan to dye it blonde after havin it straightened. my hair is quite long and curley. i know that you say if your hair has been bleached then it cant be straightened. im not sure if highlights count as bleach. can i have the colour corrected back to my natural colour and then have it straightened? or is that not reccomended....
any advice would be appreiciated......
thanks

Hey there...

I think you meant Not get your hair damaged...

best is always to do a consultation first, so stylists can take a good look at your hair.

At colournation it is our policy to do consultation (consultations are free and with no obligation) before any straightening procedure is carried out!

regards,

Val

No it's not weird we have many guys who straighten their hair with us. You'll only need one straightening every 6-12 months depending on how your hair grows. Feel free to post a picture here... we'll give you our opnion.

Hi there....

Really it all depends on how light your high-lights are...

if they are very blonde (as in on the white side) the black dye may turn abit green.

If they are not so light...just light brown, or maybe just a golden blonde you can go ahead, as the black will cover them,..possibly leaving a slightly lighter tone, but can create a nice effct actually.

Regards,

Val.

hi. I just had my hair which is black highlighted and it looks awful. I'd like to colour it black so that the highlights don't show. How long do i have to wait to colour my hair. the highlights were done last week.
