Thanks Val! It's me again. We're still in anticipation
Wella sounds good for any color, not only for auburn hair color. So, your reccomendation is Wella.
To be honest - everything is a bit quiet at the moment, but I figure - the big makeover will happen before our summer holidays in Croatia next month.
I'll mention Wella and see what happens next.
Thanks a lot for being friendly and helpful.
Cheers,
Ben.

Hi there,

As you did say there are a lot of companies to choose from out there.

Red tones however tend to fade out, and need regular toning to keep the vibrancy going. From experience and having tried many different brands we find Wella reds tend to stay a little longer.

If you had to check-out their colour chart I'm sure you will find thedesired result...

the colour in the picture seems to be the equivalent of 66/44, but ther are many other options.

You could also go to Sally's (hair-dressing retailer) they could help you choosing the right shade too.

Regards,

Val

Auburn Hair Color
G_Anonymous
Hey people. This one may be strange for some, but it is honest. I'm a 42 year old guy, husband, father of three. My wife recently decided to change her hair color to auburn. Nothing wrong with that, if you ask me...well, she's been blonde for more than 20 years now. Her natural hair is also light brown, almost ...well - blonde. I think changing her hair to red will be quite a shock for some people, but - what the heck? That's not important. The important thing is she feels happy.
Now to my concerns: I was checking the web-world , 'cause I was trying to be helpful. The fact is - my wife doesn't want to go to the professional hairdresser. I found numerous websites regarding auburn hair color, but one thing really goes through my mind for most of the time: which product, which manufacturer to buy? I know all about different shades, conditioners, procedures...but, having in mind numerous companies - I'd love to hear some of your experiences, opinions, ideas, potntial warnings etc...
Is it L'Oreal, is it Garnier, Clairol, Procter & Gamble, Sunsilk...or any other?

Hey there,

Yes by finish most commonly would be a blow-dry (straight or wavy/curly),.. hair-up is usually not included, best would be to speak to the stylist at the beginning of the appointment so she/he gets an idea of time needed

Regards,

Val

Hi there,..

Hairdressing tends to be a pretty global thing so systems tend to be pretty much the same (ie: colouring methods/cutting etc).

What countries will differ in would be trends and styles..

For example with the strong 80's revival here, there's a return to curls, waves, and asymetric cuts.

Have a good day down-under
Regards,

Val

Hey there,..

The very long hair looks pretty much like extensions.

However if you are blessed with such long hair already what you would need to do is straighten or blow dry the hair working better on top and lightly on the mid-length and ends, and then follow it up by grabbing random strands and go through with curling thongs or curl with straighteners.

Big curling tongs will give you a more natural look to the result.

Regards,

Val

Vanessa Anne Hudgens hairstyle

Can somebody explain to me how to do Vanessa Anne Hudgens's hair? It's so pretty, I want the hair she had before like long wavy hair. My natural hair is Long, Brown, and curly but I keep it straight a lot. Can I pull this hairstyle off?

Here's a picture of how I want it.

Usually when you do a skin test it will go pinky/red and may itch or tingle slighly. You want to worry when you get a more serious reaction.

Hello LosingHair...hair loss at your age mostly is caused due to hormonal disorders..But, it's not that you can't regain your lost hair back..My younger aunt was suffering from this similar problem, when she was in her 30s...Her hair loss was very severe ..Though the youngest amongst the sisters, but, she looked much older than everyone else ...She thought of using a wig..But that wasn't a solution at all...Finally she took a hair loss herbal treatment...She seriously followed the instructions and the result was noticeable from the 3rd week itself..Hair loss almost stopped, and she even started regrowing new hair..I could see her relaxed face after a long time
