Hi Mel,
It really does depend on each individual and the condition of your hair, If it is in a good condition without any damage you should be able to do it straight away without having to wait, however if it is damaged you may need to do a course of treatments to strenghten the hair first.

The new digital perm is pretty revolutionary in as you arenow able to achieve a soft blowdry curl effect rather than the old 80's style tight frizzy curl. We do off a free no obligation consultation service if you would like to come chat further and take a look at the result that can be achieved.

Hi there,

Cinsidering you are after some pretty technical questios about Xtenso, I would get in touch with the L'Oreal help-line as they will be able to give you the accureate answers you are after.

Regards,

Val

Hi there,

after having been dying black for all these years going back to blonde in one go is not possible.

The best way to go about it is to go lighter gradually.

You would need to strip the black colour first - this islikely to take you to a brown wth warm tones.... then in the following months you could add high-lights to take you to the blonde... this is likely to happen over a period of 6 - 12 months.

Regards,

Val

Hi there,

I would suggest coming in for a consultation for this one as it would be better for us to see the hair to be able to give objective advice on the matter.

I've seen the procedure in question done with difital perm (which is a service we offer)

To book for your free consultation you can contact us on 0845 88 88 333.

Regards,

Val

Hi there,

When going from blonde to a deeper colour, usually you would need to fill iy up with a red or a gold tone before applying the deeper tone... however Auburn being a red-based colour you may not need to do so.

However it might be a good idea to choose a colour a shade darker than the target colour to balance with the blonde.

Regards,

Val

Hey there,

Doing the hairstyle is possible, but the most important thing is to have the right hair for it...

This hairstyle works with thick straight hair,... if the hair is wavy or curly then you would need to blow dry it...

you would need a senior stylist upwards for this, so it would start at £39.

Regards,

Val

Hey there,

The best way not to get any confusion hen describing a haircut to a stylist is to take the picture of the desired style with you....

Sometimes clients think we do not like being given pictures - that is a myth! - it makes our lives easier!

Val

Hey there,

I must admit,..you are totally right in all that you are saying, and quite frankly you seem to have better knowledge than the hair stylist you spoke to.

Most importantly you are realistic that you mightget some red-tones out of your high-lights, but rightfully said you can tone them down.

You are not trying to be platinum blonde so I don;t quite understand why the hair stylist is so afraid to do the high-lights..... maybe it's time for a new stylist

Most imprtantly remember that what you want is NOT un-reasonable.

Regards,

Val
